Unusual Uses of Old Books

Robert The’s Bookguns are just what you might expect from the name books cut-out to look like guns. The artist is especially fond of using old Bibles, but any book with a title that lends itself to double-meaning or a word puzzle is a candidate. Many Bookgun books are pulled from dumpsters and thrift store bargain bins. Once rescued from cast-off obscurity, they are reshaped and empowered to have a new kind of literary impact. Check out Robert The’s Bookguns in the featured gallery and see the series for yourself.
