Barracuda Jumps into Boat and Bites

14-year-old Koral Wira was sitting on her family's yacht while her dad was fishing for sharks near Venice, Florida.

Suddenly a 30 pound, 45 inch long barracuda large barracuda leapt out of the sea and latched on to her arm. Koral's dad was able to kill the fish with a fillet knife.

Koral said the barracuda flew into the boat and chomped down on her left arm. It then flopped around until her father was able to catch it. But the girl still needed 51 stitches afterwards.

World's Biggest Cheesecake

On 25 January 2009, in Mexico City, Mexico, Philadelphia of Kraft Foods Mexico was recognized by Guinness World Records as the creator of the largest cheesecake ever made.

The colossal confectionery weighed 2,133.5 kg, had a diameter of 2.5 m and was 56 cm tall.

The recipe for the world’s largest cheesecake included 800 kg of Philadelphia cream cheese, 800 kg of yogurt, 350 kg of cookies, 250 kg of sugar, 150 kg of butter and 100 kg of strawberries, along with other ingredients.

World's Biggest Easter Egg

The Easter egg or Ukrainian ‘Pysanka,’ was constructed in 1975 to commemorate early Ukrainian settlements in an area east of Edmonton.

Professor Resch was responsible for the entire Pysanka concept which required the development of new computer programs.

The Pysanka is really an immense jig-saw puzzle containing 524 star patterns, 2,206 equilateral triangles, 3,512 visible facets, 6,978 nuts and bolts, and 177 internal struts.

Monkey Who Adopts Kitten

A long tailed macaque monkey adopts a kitten in the forests of Bali, Indonesia

A young long tailed macaque monkey has been spotted in a forest protectively nuzzling and grooming a ginger kitten and making sure no harm came to it. The extraordinary sight was captured by amateur photographer Anne Young while on holiday at the Monkey Forest Park, in the Ubud region of Bali, Indonesia.

During the remarkable moments the monkey would become agitated if Anne ventured too near to take pictures and at one point used a huge leaf to try and cover the kitten from view

The monkey was even wary of other macaques and would not allow other young males to get too close

Throughout the session the kitten enjoyed the attention being lavished on it by its protective carer and made no effort to leave.

The reserve is inhabited by about 340 monkeys in four groups. It is considered sacred by locals and visited by about 10,000 tourists each month
